BAY ANGEL INVESTORS SPEARHEAD CHARITABLE DONATION DRIVE
Berkeley
Calif. - May 23, 2002 - Members of angel investment group The
Keiretsu Forum founded a non-profit counterpart, The Keiretsu
Foundation, to encourage charitable giving among members and
friends of the deal-screening forum.
The Foundation spearheaded a donation event at which individuals
donated non-liquid stock in companies Nanomuscle, Pixami, Head
Pedal, Specdex. Rod McGregor, CEO of Nanomuscle. The Foundation
intends to screen non-profit organizations in the same manner
The Keiretsu Forum now screens venture deals. The Keiretsu
Foundation will select one to three groups to receive donations
quarterly.

Crossroads
Venture Fair Draws Top High-Tech, High-Growth Companies from the
Northeast
Put
on one of the best venues for capital in the Northeast and they
will come: high growth companies and investors.
The Crossroads Venture Fair presented by the Connecticut Venture
Group with lead sponsor Connecticut Innovations and host
sponsors Yale University and the City of New Haven drew 700
attendees, one of the Fair's largest number of
attendees. For the ninth consecutive year, Crossroads earned
rave revues.
Crossroads featured 60 of the hottest growth companies in the
region over two days (May 14-15) in New Haven, CT. Attendees
participated in cutting-edge panel discussions, listened to
presentations for funding from exciting high-growth companies
and mingled at festive networking events and a Gala Reception at
the Yale Art Gallery.
